Awakening to Renault in Paris

Bonjour mes amis,

What is it with boys and cars? Here’s one for the boys this time-seeing that I gave the girls a few Paris tips last blog.

When you’re ever in Paris with male company and they cannot cope anymore with shopping ( surprise surprise), walk the Champse Elysee to number 53 arm in arm, and take him to the Renault Museum.  All will be soothed as he runs his hand along fine leather upholstery. Getting up close and personal with flashy Renault cars will invigorate the most broken of men!

The A’telier Renault is housed in the building actually purchased in 1910 by Louis Renault and today is brimming with magnificent exhibitions in the ground floor space. It also holds a large Renault boutique and even a larger bar and restaurant upstairs to enjoy, as you think about the haves and the have nots of the world!

If you don’t purchase one of their fabulous cars immediately, the boutique at the front offers very cool Renault caps and  key rings and clothing which will make you look a million dollars while you’re giving thought. Hmnn.

There’s always the miniature car collection!

I’ve been there a few times now and perusing the Formula I and Vintage Renault Exhibitions is fantastic!

A’telier Renault is open every day from 10.30am and is a must see when in Paris. Don’t forget to book a table if you are going for lunch or dinner.

By the way girls, the place is swarming with cars and men.

Take your pick!

Au revoir,

Best Wishes, Therese Waddell
